Unlike its counterpart, narrow AI, which is designed for specific tasks, AGI aims to replicate human cognitive abilities, presenting a paradigm shift in our approach to artificial intelligence.

Understanding AGI

AGI is a form of AI that can understand, learn, and apply its intelligence in an array of contexts, much like a human. This contrasts with ‘narrow AI,’ which excels in specific domains like language translation or playing chess but lacks the versatility and adaptability of human cognition.
